The World Association for Chinese Biomedical Engineers (WACBE) will organize the 11_^th WACBE World Congress on Bioengineering at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, Hong Kong, during 4 – 7 August 2024. The Congress will invite renowned biomedical professionals and engineers over the world to share their latest research findings and advancements. The Congress will offer a networking forum to keep abreast of the latest development of the field. Best paper awards (oral and poster) will be set up for young researchers and students. We extend a warm invitation to you and your peers to bumit abstract and participate in the Congress. You may also help to share this message to your colleagues and students.

The 9th WACBE World Congress in Bioengineering took place from August 16-19, 2019 in The National Taiwan University.
The WACBE World Congress on Bioengineering focused on the ways that biomedical engineering approaches drive innovation technologies and provide solutions that impact clinical medical practice. This meeting offers a platform, which the researchers and trainees can collaborate on the translation of biomedical technologies from the laboratory to clinical ventures. The Congress attracted about 400 delegates from over the world, including academic researchers, industry practitioners, medical officers, business leaders and students. They were gathering in the Congress to share their experience on bioengineering and had showcased the contributions that biomedical engineers brought to health care, with applications that affect the quality of life for people.

Welcome Message

On behalf of the organising committee, it is my pleasure to invite you and your colleagues to attend the WACBE World Congress on Bioengineering 2015, which will be held in Singapore, from 6 to 8 July 2015, hosted by the Biomedical Engineering Society (Singapore).

The World Association for Chinese Biomedical Engineers (WACBE) organises this World Congress biannually. Our past congresses have brought together many biomedical engineers from over the world to share their experiences and views on the future development of biomedical engineering. The 7th WACBE World Congress on Bioengineering 2015 in Singapore will continue to offer such a networking platform for all biomedical engineers.

The Congress will cover all related areas in bioengineering and special symposiums will be arranged. Apart from the scientific programmes including invited plenary and keynote speeches, special symposia, free paper presentations and product exhibition, there will also be student activities and social programmes for accompanying spouses.
